The competition is aimed at promoting cultural diversity and public diplomacy in the northern regions, as well as the formation of intercultural competencies of young people. All selected texts will be published in the collection of conference articles and indexed in the RSCI. The finalists of the competition will be awarded with souveniers and invited to the events of the forum at the expense of the organizers ( citizens of the Russian Federation) or will be accepted as exchange students to study the Russian language and culture (citizens of foreign countries).
We invite you to submit your essays and applications (see attachment for templates) in English, Russian, or Norwegian to uksusov.mihail@masu.edu.ru with the subject "Essay contest (Your Name)" by 28 March 2021. All selected works will be published in the international conference proceedings.

The competition is held with the aim of popularizing modern and classical poetry of two regions — the Murmansk region and Norway, presenting their poets and translators, as well as showing to the readers the poetry of the participating regions, finding identifying talented authors and translators for establishing cooperation. Citizens of Norway and Russia, authors of the poetry translations, can participate in the competition.
