Meeting with the delegation of military attaches at the MASU

On March 6th, 2017 at Murmansk Arctic State University was held a meeting of MASU leadership and teachers with a military attaches delegation from Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Denmark and Germany.

Within this meeting Rector of MASU, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Andrei Sergeev made a presentation showing strategic directions of the university’s activities, educational programs in various specialties, new aspects of the development of MASU as an integrator of projects in the Arctic region. Inna Ryzhkova, PhD., Associate Professor, Director of the Department of Research Work and International Cooperation, told about the development of international cooperation and the main achievements of MASU in the field of international cooperation.

Teachers and researchers from MASU also showed presentations related to the research activities in the Arctic, studies of the Arctic subculture and presented their technical and technological developments.

Delegation representatives have shown the great interest in international cooperation on the Arctic issues, recognizing the significant role of the university both in research and in training of highly qualified specialists for the region.
