Meeting a Delegation from Germany

On November 26th, 2015 the representatives of the Land association of children’s and youth recreation centers in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany) visited Murmansk Arctic State University. The delegation included organization board members, as well as students of German schools. Vice-rector for Science and Research Galina Zhigunova and Head of Research work and International Cooperation Office Inna Ryzhkova greeted the guests.

Deputy Director Tatiana Tegaleva and Associate Professor of Philosophy and Social Sciences Svetlana Petoshina told the meeting participants about students’ volunteering and current social projects at MASU.

The students of Murmansk International Lyceum, High School № 2, High School № 10, the winners of academic competition in German language and the students of MASU also took part in the meeting. For all of the students an interactive discussion was organized. Education and youth free time organization in two countries were the most important issues during the discussion.

A special cultural program was organized for the guests.
