Seminar «Home»

International Scientific and Practical Seminar «Home» took place at Murmansk Arctic State University on 24-25 November. The seminar became the first event within the project «MASU laboratory of anthropological research».

Teachers and PhD students from MASU departments, scientists of Kola Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, colleagues from Murmansk Regional Museum, representatives of Murmansk creative intelligentsia, teachers from higher education institutions of Russia (Orenburg, Omsk, Sevastopol, Samara), as well as foreign colleagues from the University of Nordland and University of Tromso participated in the seminar. The atmosphere at the seminar was dialogical, open and creative.

This scientific event turned out to be an interdisciplinary arena for synthesis of Philosophy, Social and Scientific Knowledge and Arts. Philosophical reflections on Home evolved in the classical sense of Ontology and Phenomenology and in objective and substantial perspective.
