Internationalization of Higher Education in the Barents Euro-Arctic region

On September 30, 2015 the international scientific and practical seminar «Internationalization of Higher Education in the Barents Euro-Arctic region» was carried out at Murmansk State Humanities University. Rector of Murmansk State Humanities University Andrey Sergeev, Director of the Institute for Psychology and Pedagogy Tatiana Kuzmicheva and Head of Research and International Cooperation Department Inna Ryzhkova attended the seminar.

Professor Anatoly Belogurov, Doctor of Pedagogy and Psychology at Moscow Institute for International Relations made a key report on the issue of internationalization in Higher Education in Russian universities being the part of the Barents Euro-Arctic Region.

The seminar aimed at the cooperation prospects of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Moscow Institute for International Relations and Murmansk State Humanities University in the field of internationalization of Higher Education in BEAR-level research projects and joint educational programmes.

In addition, the participants discussed the issues related to the joint development of a textbook on Comparative Pedagogics, the basic content of which will be devoted to the analysis of the educational system specificity of Russian, Barents Euro-Arctic and Scandinavian parts.
