The first training section of «Young Entrepreneurs Program — 2015»
22-24 September 2015 in the conference hall of the Hotel «Azimut» the first training section of «Young Entrepreneurs Program» was held. The students from Murmansk State Humanities University, Murmansk State Technical University, Murmansk Academy of Economics and Management, Moscow Institute of Humanities and Economics, University of Nordland, Ålesund University College attended the course. The Organizer of the program was the Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, the Moderator was Hans-Olav Rekdal who is also a Project Manager of the Norwegian-Russian Chamber of Commerce. The main tutors of the program were Nadezhda Kumashova, the Manager of Foreign Relations of North Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Ulrich Kreuzenbeck, the Director of «Flait Group»; Natalia Privalova, the Consultant; Atle Berge, the Director of the company «Ølen Betong»; Irina Popova, the Director of Industrial Sector at the Company «Storvik & Co».
Participants of the program were offered some lectures and practical classes on the basics of business, macroeconomics and entrepreneurship. Tutors on the example of their own corporations and companies talked about the step-by-step business work beginning from business idea and then finishing as a competitive enterprise. During the course participants of the program could offer their business plans and projects which they developed using the recommendations and advice of tutors. Atle Berge shared with participants his experience in promoting the company «Ølen Betong» in Russia, he also spoke about the risks and prospects of business. The lecture of Natalia Privalova was devoted to the perspective areas of economic development of the Barents region with an emphasis on international partnerships.
The «Young entrepreneurs» is one of the most successful joint Russian-Norwegian programs aimed at international cooperation. Most participants agreed that such kind of international approach is useful in business studying and developing.
All students have shown a great interest in learning and actively participated in the discussion.
