Bachelor of Northern Studies is a program implemented under the auspices of the University of Arctic with MSHU being one of its members. The program was implemented online with elements of face-to-face lectures and seminars. The program includes a series of basic and advanced emphasis integrative courses on history and culture, economy and ecology of the European North. The modules directly reflect Arctic issues and are focused on an in-depth study of specifics of the Arctic zone. The courses were developed both by the leading researchers from Norway and teachers of Murmansk State Humanities University.
During the ceremony diplomas were awarded to 14 students. All the graduate students combined their classroom training on various MSHU programs (journalism, foreign languages, etc.) with online studies at the Norwegian university. July 10 they received not one, but two diplomas: a MSHU diploma and a diploma of higher education of the Arctic University of Norway, that will certainly enhance their career opportunities in the near future.
Congratulations to all the graduates on successful completion of the program!
