News of the project «Young Innovative Entrepreneurs»

On 3-4 June the «Young Innovative Entrepreneurs» project participants from Russia, Finland, Sweden and Norway met at the conference «Barents Reunion» in Tornio, Finland. At the same time the Barents Festival for young entrepreneurs was carried out in Tornio.

During the activities the project participants not only got advice from experienced entrepreneurs, listened to the stories of young but successful businessmen, but also presented the ideas of the own projects at the exhibition.

Design projects of MSHU students Ksenia Rumiantseva, Alina Tsyvareva, Daria Karmatskih, Zoja Voloshina and Anastasia Pavlova (Faculty Arts Education, Technology and Design) aroused genuine interest among the exhibition visitors. MSHU students and their supervisor Eleonora Agarkova received invitation to participate in the annual international exhibition «The Night of Arts» (Tornio, Finland), and also in exhibitions in Haparanda (Sweden).

Thus, the Barents Festival and the Barents Reunion gave the participants new knowledge, allowed them to exchange their experience with foreign colleagues, establish new business and friendly contacts. The most memorable event was the opening words of the legendary founder of IKEA Ingvar Kamprad.
