Finnish-Russian «A School for All» project workshop

On the 14th—15th of May a workshop within the Finnish-Russian project «A School for All» took place at MSHU International Relations’ Office. The delegation from the University of Lapland included: Professor Sai Väyrynen, Scientific Leader of the project; Katja Norvapalo, Project Manager and Essi Kesalahti, the trainee.

During the seminar the results of Benchmarking Visits to Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Russia were discussed. Project researcher Alexandra Burtseva made a presentation on the specific features of inclusive education in all 4 countries. Project scientific leader Tatiana Kuzmicheva spoke about the structure of the Institute for Psychology and Pedagogy and MSHU activities in developing inclusive education in the region.

The seminar was held in the form of constructive dialogue. The next meeting within the project will take place in St-Petersburg in October 2013.
