National kick-off meeting of the project «Young Innovative Entrepreneurs» in the Barents region

On April 27, 2012 national kick-off meeting of the project «Young Innovative Entrepreneurs» took place in the hotel Meridian. General objective of the project is to establish a network for development and implementation of innovative business ideas of young entrepreneurs in the Barents region. The project is financed by the EU programme Kolarctic ENPI CBC and will run from 2012 to 2014.

>The following participants were present on behalf of MSHU: Ekaterina Tamistova, project coordinator; Elena Statsenko, dean of faculty of technologies, entrepreneurship and design; Marina Ignatenko, head of department of technologies, economy and entrepreneurship and MSHU students.

The project coordinator made a presentation about the role of MSHU in the project which will consist in providing support to the young entrepreneurs who study at MSHU by organizing consultations with competent specialists and teaching entrepreneurship by the example of already functioning businesses at MSHU.

English speaking students of senior courses with their own innovative business ideas and strong desire to put them into practice are welcome to join the project.

Applications can be submitted at MSHU international department (Egorov str., 15, office 203).

The deadlines are June 22, 2012 and September 1, 2012.
