«ArctiChildren» project seminar

On the 12th−13th of March the kick-off seminar within the international project «ArctiChildren» took place at Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences. The project is financed by «Kolarctic ENPI CBC» program. All partner institutions of higher education participated in the seminar, in particular: the University of Lapland, Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences, Luleå University of Technology, Finnmark University College, Murmansk State Humanities University and Northern (Arctic) Federal University. MSHU was represented by Inna Ryzhkova (project coordinator) and Yulia Shestova (project secretary).

During the seminar Inna Ryzhkova made a presentation on the problem of e-health as a new direction of educational and medical institutions’ activities. The project participants analyzed the action plan and the project grant contract and made a conclusion to develop the questionnaire with the help of which school-children will be surveyed.

The next meeting will take place in the middle of May 2012 and it will be focused on practical work with teachers from the pilot project schools.
