Information event of finnish universities

On January 13 MSHU held an information event, the participants of which were Martti Ruokokoski, Consul of Finland, and other employees of Murmansk office of the Consulate General of Finland in Saint-Petersburg and representatives of three Universities of Lapland (Finland), i. e. University of Lapland (Rovaniemi), Rovaniemi University of Applied Sciences and Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences. These universities have been partners of our university for years.

The main goal of the event was to give information about higher institutions of Lapland and opportunities for Russian students to study in them. There were about 90 students, graduates from Murmansk institutions of higher education, schoolchildren and their parents in the room where the meeting took place, this fact shows great interest of people in Murmansk to higher education in Finland, which is considered one of the best and most available in the world. There also were regional mass media at the meeting.

After the meeting was over the guests from Finland expressed their satisfaction with the results and thanked the MSHU representatives for help in organization of the event.
