Results of the Russian-Norwegian Project «The Norwegian Language in Russia»
The Center for Academic Mobility, International Projects and Programs informs that the Russian-Norwegian Project «The Norwegian Language in Russia» finished in October 2011. During the project a group of MSHU employees studied Norwegian during one academic year under supervision of teachers from Adult Learning Center (Kirkenes, Norway) Ms. Unni Hamborg and Ms. Liza Stepanova, as well as Mr. Jan Ove Odden, Norwegian teacher at MSHU.
After taking oral and written exam at Adult Learning Center the project participants received international certificates on language competence: Inna Ryzhkova and Yulia Shestova passed the exam in B1 level; Svetlana Antoshina, Ekaterina Tamistova and Polina Timashkova passed the exam in A2 level.
The tests were developed by the Norwegian Folk University and have a status of Norwegian Language Test created by the National Agency on Adult Learning Policy. The results of the test are recognized as a final exam in the Norwegian Language and Culture for adult migrants. The description of the language competence level in the Norwegian Study Plan is based on requirements of the European Council in foreign languages and corresponds to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, 2001.
