Working visit of delegation from Norway to Institute for Psychology and Pedagogy

On the 17th of November a representative of University of Nordland (Bodø, Norway) Mr. Gisle Johnsen, professor, dean deputy of faculty of professional education and Mr. Fritz Johnsen, a representative of Statped organization (Norway) that offers guidance in practical implementation of methods and technologies of special pedagogy and psychology paid a working visit to MSHU.

Fritz Johnsen delivered a lecture on dyscalculia to the students of Institute for Psychology and Pedagogy. Gisle Johnsen made a presentation about University of Nordland covering the university structure and ongoing international projects in the field of special education.

Institute for Psychology and Pedagogy also presented its educational, research and international activities. Norwegian colleagues gave a high estimation of professional level of Russian colleagues and students.

Moreover, the working meeting covered perspectives of further cooperation. The meeting participants reached a common view that ongoing research at the two universities can be regarded a base of cooperation in the field of special education. Academic mobility of students and teachers will be considered as the basic form of further Russian-Norwegian cooperation.

In the nearest future Russian and Norwegian colleagues will prepare materials for future international project application to Barents Secretariat.
