Meeting with Bertrand Sirven

On November 8, students of the Faculty of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication met with Bertrand Sirven, a guest from France, engineer on renewable resources, representative of the company «Électricité de France».

The language of the discussion about the identity of people in the south of France was French. Students and lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages and Methodology asked a lot of questions about traditions, cuisine, culture of Languedoc-Roussillon province, about politics and international relations. Relations between Russia and France were particularly much spoken about.

The information will surely be useful for the lessons of countries’ study. Moreover, Languedoc-Roussillon touristic business gives an opportunity to study and work in France.
