International Students Conference on Sociology

On the 6th of October 2011 MSHU hosted international students conference on sociology arranged by an exchange master student from University of Tromsø Åshild Selboe.

Participants compared their surveys of Russian, Norwegian and Finnish society, gave an overview of some aspects of Scandinavian and Russian education, healthcare and banking systems and students life on campus.

The conference provided networking opportunities and brought new prospects of cooperation and sharing experience for both Russian and foreign students.

Russian participants were represented by undergraduate and postgraduate students from Faculty of History and Social Sciences and Faculty of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication.
