The work of the seminar «Internationalization seminars and workshop Russia-Sweden» — the project of the Department of Cultural and intercultural communication, language theory and journalism of Murmansk State Humanities University and Faculty of Pedagogy of Lulea University of Technology (Sweden), funded by a grant from Swedish Institute continued on May 12.

On the second day of work the teachers of the department increased their competence in English. Senior lecturer at the Lulea University (Sweden) Marie-Louise Annerblom and members of the department: Ivanishcheva O. N., Palamarchuk M. L., Sadohova M. V. and Tereshchenko E. Y., as well as the master students of the Department: Khlebutina E. and E. Shemelina attended the seminar. The reports of associate professor, PhD Palamarchuk M. L. «Interaction of the mass media with social networks» and master student of the Department Khlebutina E. V. «Stereotypes of the educational problems (for example mass media in the Barents region)», made in English, were discussed. Discussion was also held in English and in an atmosphere of tolerance to the content of the reports and the level of English language of the teachers of the Department.
