On April 26-28 an international scientific conference «Bilingual education: theory and practice» took place in the University of Helsinki (Finland).

Olga Ivanischeva, Doctor of Philology, head of the laboratory for the Sámi language of Murmansk State Humanities University, presented the results of the work of this Laboratory at the conference and made a presentation «Problems of preserving the language of the indigenous minority in the Kola North and perspectives of bilingual education».
