The Center for Academic Mobility, International Projects and Programs
On May 03, 2011 the Center for Academic Mobility, International Projects and Programs hosted a meeting of MSHU rector Andrey Sergeev, Vice-Rector for Science and Research Pavel Fedorov and representatives of the Faculty of Art Education, Technology and Design led by dean Elena Statsenko with the delegation from Norway which included Knut A. Mugaas, Consul on Commercial Affairs of the Consulate General of Norway in Murmansk, Tore Wiig, representative of «Hille Melbye Arkitektes AS» company, and Peter Butenshcøn, project manager on architectural export from «Arkitektbedriftene» company, Association of consulting architects in Norway.
The brief presentation of Mikhail Smirnyakov, head of the International office, gave the Norwegian guests a general overview of MSHU.
The representatives of the Faculty of Art Education, Technology and Design described the main directions of the Faculty work in detail, illustrating it with the numerous photos, pictures and models. The guests were also acquainted with the exposition devoted to the works of Henrik Ibsen, the noted Norwegian playwright, and with the on-going exhibition of MSHU students’ graphic works. The meeting was held in the atmosphere of mutual understanding.
This visit was of a get-to-know nature.
