On April 20 the enlarged meeting of the Council of Faculty of Philology, Journalism and Intercultural Communication took place.

The Council was attended by professor P. V. Fedorov, MSHU Vice-rector for Science and Research, O. N. Bogaevskaya, head of the students’ research society, D. A. Fokin and I. L. Tkachenko, specialists in project work, E. V. Yakovleva, assistant of the Vice-rector for Science and Research, I. V. Ryzhkova, Director of the Center for Academic Mobility and International Projects, A. V. Burtseva, Vice-Director of the Center, and M. A. Smirnyakov, Head of the International Office.

The subject of the Council was discussion of the MSHU development strategy in the sphere of science, research and international work.

The discussion between the Faculty lecturers and representatives of the university administration included the following vital issues: what is an innovative development of the university, what are the ways to solve personnel-related issues, what is the essence of internationalization of higher education. The discussion aroused great interest of the members of the Faculty Council and will contribute to the creation of the development strategy.
