The meeting with SOS Programme Coordinator

On the 27th of January 2011 Rector of Murmansk State Humanities University Andrey Sergeev had a meeting with Lars Gill, SOS Programme Coordinator.

Other participants of the meeting were Inna Ryzhkova, Director of the Center for Academic Mobility, International Projects and Programs, Alexandra Burtseva, Vice-Director of the Center, Mikhail Smirnyakov, Head of International Department, Tatiana Tegaleva, lecturer of the Department of Social Work and Work with the Youth, and Tatiana Dunaeva, Fundraising and Grant Manager of the Children placement support centre.

During the meeting they discussed the results of the 5-year cooperation with the humanitarian organization «SOS — Children’s Villages Norway» and perspectives of further collaboration. The aim of cooperation was realization socially important projects in the Murmansk region and strengthening contacts between the University and social institutions, for which MSHU trains specialists.

The concrete results of cooperation became purchase of the study materials, conducting scientific research on the development of the foster family institute in the Murmansk region.
