The visit of the Governor of the Murmansk region to MSHU

On 25 January the Governor of the Murmansk region, Dmitry Dmitrienko, visited Murmansk State Humanities University.

In the foyer of the university rector of Murmansk State Humanities University, Professor Andrey Sergeev introduced the Governor an exhibition, devoted to the current status and plans for development of the university.

In the main building of MSHU the Governor met students, representatives of different faculties, student union, creative teams. At the beginning of the meeting Dmitry Dmitrienko suggested commemorating the memory of the victims of the terrorist attack occurred on the eve at the Domodedovo airport. The governor, describing the measures taken to improve security in the Murmansk region in the present, stressed the importance of long-term work on educating the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and tolerance, to the formation of morality and citizenship.

During the conversation with the Governor the concerned students received answers to their questions about scholarships, preparing to celebrate the 100 anniversary of Murmansk, the creation of the Youth Government in the Murmansk region, etc.

The visit of the honored guest ended with the conversation between the Governor of the Murmansk region and the rector of MSHU.
