«Big World»: an honoured guest of MSHU — Jon Elvedal Fredriksen

On December 23 the Consul General of Norway, Jon Elvedal Fredriksen, visited our University. This was the second meeting with lecturers, students and employees of MSHU within the «Big World» project.

Jon Fredriksen’s open lecture «Norway today» was devoted to history, culture and present day position of Norway. Special attention was paid to perspectives of cooperation between Norway and its closest neighbour — Russian Federation.

The lecture was a success. The rector of MSHU, professor A. M. Sergeev, who was present at the lecture, stressed the importance of good neighborly relations with Norwegian educational institutions within the strategy of integration into the Bologna process.
