Rectors' visit to Finnmark University College

On the 25th—26th of October 2010 Rector of the Murmansk State Humanities University Professor Andrey Sergeev visited Finnmark University College (Alta, Norway).

During his visit Professor Sergeev had a meeting with Rector of FiUC Mr. Ketil Hanssen and director Mr. Pål Markusson where they discussed the common spheres and forms of cooperation between our institutions. Within the official visit meetings took place with the representatives of the International office, Deans and faculty staff. During the meetings they discussed issues of Academic Mobility, Scholarship programs and perspectives of Joint Master Degree Programs’ development.

Besides, the Rector met our students who study as exchange students at Finnmark University College. The students shared their impressions about their studies in Norway, mentioned that they are extremely satisfied with both quality of education and living conditions.

In the end Rectors of both institutions signed the Bilateral Agreement.
