Meeting with U.S. Consul for Press and Culture

On the 5th of April, 2010 MSPU was visited by Mr. Eric A. Johnson, Consul for Press and Culture, U. S. Consulate General in St. Petersburg and Ms. Yelena V. Smirnova, Information Resource Center Director, U. S. Consulate General in St. Petersburg. Programme of the visit included a lecture for students dedicated to the 200th Anniversary of US-Russia Diplomatic Relations and screening of «The Action in the North Atlantic» movie.

The guests also had a meeting with the administration of MSPU: Irina M. Shadrina, Acting Rector of MSPU, Pavel Fedorov, MSPU Vice-Rector for Science and Research, Inna Ryzhkova, Director of the Center for Academic Mobility, International Projects and Programs, Bella Shuruhova, Head of International Office. During the meeting issues, concerning Russian-American cooperation in the sphere of higher education were discussed.
