MASU delegation visited Finnish universities

On March 27-30, MASU rector, Professor Andrei Sergeev, and head of Research and International cooperation office Inna Ryzhkova paid an official visit to the Lapland University of Applied Sciences (Rovaniemi).

During the official meetings with the leaders of universities and deans of faculties, prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of education and science were discussed. University heads emphasized the special importance of university cooperation in thematic networks of the University of the Arctic. The pedagogical thematic network, as well as the Arctic Sustainable Arts and Design network, were regarded as examples of best practices in the field of international cooperation.

The parties signed cooperation agreements involving the development of bilateral relations at the level of academic mobility, international projects, and joint educational programs. Business and economics, management and administration, and legal studies were identified as new areas of cooperation with the Finnish side.
