MASU’s rector had a meeting with the lecturer from China
On January 12, MASU rector, Dr. Phil., professor Andrey Sergeev held a meeting with the master Wan Lin, founder of Taiji and Qigong, lecturer of Hainan University’s of Technology Health Promotion sciences college (Haikou, China).
Within the meeting, the sides got acquainted with the history and infrastructure of both universities and discussed the possible perspectives of Murmansk Arctic State University and Hainan University of Technology cooperation in a number of points including the health promotion technologies. Moreover master Wan Lin conducted a training course for those who wanted to familiarize with the unique combat and health promotion practices.
Master Wan Lin — master of Kung-Fu, a referee of international Taiji, Wushu and Sanda categories, Hainan University of Technology lecturer and the founder of human’s complex harmonic development and recovery system — Jun Hoe system which consists of two inextricably connected elements — Jun Hoe Taiji and Jun Hoe Qigong. In 2003 master’s Wan Lin school of Taiji and Qigong was open in Moscow. Its main objective is investigating theoretic aspects and practical use of exercises of ancient systems of physical and spiritual development. In 2007 a branch of school in Murmansk was opened under the guidance of Viktor Barkov.
Hainan University of Technology and School of Taiji and Qigong of master Wan Lin in cooperation with Murmansk Arctic State University are planning to develop the joint scientific and educational materials to draw the people’s attention to health promotion technologies.
