MASU employees became the experts of Web of Science

January 24-25, full-time course of Web Science platform and its additional services by Clarivate was held in a linguistic centre of Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Sofia Popova, an assistant of vice-rector for Research, and Mikhail Uksusov, staff member of Research and International Cooperation office, were the MASU’s representatives at the seminar.

Within the course, participants got acquainted with such tool as Web of Science, EndNote, InCites, Journal Citation Report, Publons, Researcher ID, Kopernio, Google Scholar.

Those course attendants who successfully completed the course became certified Web Science experts and got an opportunity to conduct the consultations and training activities for working with services.

Web of Science is the largest platform that combines databases of publications in scientific journals, including databases that take into account the mutual citation of publications. Web of Science covers materials on natural, technical, social, human sciences and the arts. The platform has built-in capabilities for search, analysis and management of bibliographic information.
