MASU Lecturer took part in an international meeting in Serbia

Elena Golishnikova, Associate Professor of the Department of Special Pedagogy and Special Psychology of the Psychological and Pedagogical Institute of the Murmansk Arctic State University, visited the Republic of Serbia (Belgrade and Novi-Sad) as a member of delegation invited by the Serbian side.

During her visit to Novi-Sad University and Novi-Pazar State University, Elena Golishnikova took part in negotiations on cooperation in the field of education and science between the two Serbian universities and MASU. In addition, parties discussed the possibilities of academic exchange of students and teachers, as well as the prospects for joint research and participation in grant programmes.

The international meeting was dedicated to St. Sava’s Day — St. Sava is the Serbian patron saint of education, school and family. Delegates from Russia, the Czech Republic and Germany took part in public celebrations. The Patriarch of Serbia Irenei, members of the Presidential Administration of Serbia and the minister and representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the country attended the concert which was held in Belgrade at the National Theater of Serbia. Also members of the delegation met with the Adviser to the Mayor of Novi-Sad on issues of education and culture and had an excursion at the oldest Serbian gymnasium.
