MASU students receive BRIDGE project certificates
The fourth session of «BRIDGE: Barents Region Initiative for Developing Growth and Employability» that was organized at UiT — the Arctic University of Norway came to its conclusion. Students were awarded certificates proving that they had successfully presented their business-cases and finished the session.
Ivan Morgun (a third-year student, tourism major), Valeria Chadrantseva (a second-year student, economics major), Ksenia Ovcharenko (a first-year student, speech therapy major) spent a semester working side by side with their colleagues from Russia, Norway and Finland and designed strategies to promote tourism in Northern Norway.
Valeria Chadrantseva won a scholarship of Barents+ programme to do an internship in Norway in autumn 2021. Hence, in the final project session Valeria will represent a Norwegian university.
CBC Kolarctic 2014−2020 (Kolarctic Cross-Border Cooperation program) is a financial tool to support cooperation between the northern regions of Finland, Sweden, Norway and North-West Russia.
Program's tasks:
- Supporting economical and social development in regions on both sides of the common border;
- Addressing common challenges in the field of environmental protection, public health and safety;
- Creating better conditions and assumption for increasing the mobility of people, goods and capital.
