MASU rector takes part in the Russian-Chinese meeting

On September 3, MASU rector Irina Shadrina participated in the Russian-Chinese meeting held within the framework of Eastern Economic Forum. The event was organized online and was dedicated to research and educational cooperation with Hainan Vocational University of Science and Technology (China).

Irina Shadrina spoke of the University's development perspectives, including the Arctic healthcare, and brought forward the proposal for research and educational cooperation.

Hainan University was represented by rector Chen Bin, head of Cooperation office Wan Hua Min, director of Institute of Healthcare Cao Wei Jze and head of Department of Sport Wan Zi Min. They presented their university and emphasized the importance of research and educational cooperation in the fields of healthcare, creation of comfortable living environment, health preservation for people living in extreme climate and coping with the pandemic.

The parties agreed to conclude an agreement that would define the exact fields of cooperation.
