MASU presented the international youth agenda in the Arctic at the festival in Teriberka

On August 21, Mikhail Uksusov from MASU International Cooperation Department and Youth Envoy of the Russian Federation for International Cooperation in the Arctic made a welcoming speech at the section «Youth of the Arctic» within the framework of the discussion platform «The Future of the Northern Latitudes» of the Teriberka Festival.

Mikhail highlighted the relevance of the youth agenda in international cooperation in the Arctic, presented the experience of the Arctic Council on the mentioned topic in the activities of the Arctic Council working groups and other intergovernmental organizations, described the priorities of Russian Chairmanship in the Arctic Council in 2021−2023. Mikhail also gave examples of the effectiveness of international cooperation within the framework of the youth agenda in the Arctic, one of which was the project of the Kolarctic cross-border cooperation program «BRIDGE: development of employment opportunities in the Barents region», the coordinator of which on the territory of Russia is MASU.
