MASU has risen in Interfax's rating of Russian universities for international cooperation

Murmansk Arctic State University is in the top 100 in international cooperation in the Interfax rating of higher educational institutions of Russia.

In 2021, MASU climbed to 93−96th place in the ranking, scoring 76 points and jumped ahead by 174 places compared to the previous year. For the first time in the history of participation in the Interfax national ranking, a university from the Murmansk region entered the top 100 universities in Russia on any of the parameters.

The Interfax Group has implemented the National Ranking of Universities (NRU) project since 2010. Its main goal is to develop mechanisms and procedures for independent evaluation of Russian universities and their educational programs, increasing the competitiveness of the Russian system of education, research and technological entrepreneurship, and the development of federal and regional universities.
