MASU and EMERCOM of Russia for Murmansk Region sign cooperation agreement
The University and EMERCOM have a long history of working together on various matters. MASU students take on a role of volunteer rescue groups and crisis centre interpreters. Lately, MASU graduates deigned software prototypes for satellite data analysis that will help manage fires, coastline oil spillages, and ice conditions.
The cooperation gives MASU students an opportunity to bring various projects to life and practice real-case scenarios when it comes to research and innovations.

MASU joins National Forum of Kirghiz Diaspora
National Forum of Kirghiz Diaspora was held in early August in Murmansk. Murmansk Arctic State University along with regional ministries' and organizations' representatives welcomed guests.

Yulia Shestova, Head of International Cooperation office, and Viktoria Piksendeeva, Head of Admission office, presented our university and discussed application and admission details, as well as social and cultural adaptation of international students at MASU and Russian language courses.
As the result of the Forum, soon MASU and Kirghiz Diaspora Council will sign a cooperation agreement for implementing joint initiatives, projects, and programmes.

MASU students' project receive recognition once more
Two projects designed by MASU student-led movements have successfully reached the semi-finals of the International Award #MyVmeste (#WeAreTogether). The first project focuses on the importance of inclusivity and equality, whereas the second — on the ecological agenda in the Arctic.

In early September, students will have online seminars, during which they will get some lifehacks and necessary details regarding the final competition. The winners will be announced on December 5.

Welcome to Murmansk Arctic State University
Last, but not the least, Murmansk Arctic State University welcomes first-year students. This year around 300 students have entered the university along with new international students. Here's to the new adventures, friends and experience!
