Russia's leading art community welcomes MASU representatives

A student and a staff member of MASU Creative Industries and Entrepreneurship Institute are now regional ambassadors to Tavrida Art Cluster.
For Anna Grishko, Associate Professor of Arts and Design Department, it is the time becoming the ambassador. The ambassadors of the Art Cluster are either people whose profession or work is closely connected with culture and arts, or they are Tavrida projects participants. They involve the youth of their region in creative activities and help to promote the Art Cluster's work.
'Being an ambassador is a true honour. This role implies work in promoting the Art Cluster's goals in our region, specifically, to develop creative industries as a sphere in Russia, as well as to highlight the opportunities that Tavrida provides for young people', comments Anna Aleksandrovna.
Besides, Anna Aleksandrovna has participated multiple times in the Tavrida educational sessions since 2017, as well as initiated and organized the Tatiana Krylova National Musical Festival. The festival has won the grant competition and swept the popular vote in Tavrida Art Cluster. Among other things, Anna Grishko is a member of Murmansk Regional Duma and deputy chairperson of the Culture, Youth Policy and Tourism Committee.
Kristina Zaitseva, a 4th-year student, is the second MASU representative in Tavrida Art Cluster. Kristina will play the role of media ambassador, which means she will represent Tavrida.ART as a media brand, assist in creating content for the Art Cluster, manage the publicity of the Cluster in the region, as well as cooperate with local media and bloggers.
To win the competition, MASU ambassadors have passed in a number of tests: they've recorded a video about themselves in the interview format, come up with a concept for the Art Cluster publicity in Murmansk, suggested the venues for events, and also had an online interview with the Art Cluster and Rosmolodezh representatives.
Being an ambassador means that both Anna and Kristina get an opportunity to become co-organizers of Tavrida projects, gain experience in implementing large-scale events, and develop such skills as public speaking, networking, and cooperation with the media.

Tavrida.ART is a part of the federal Youth of Russia Project within the national project Education, and has been implemented by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) since 2015. For the past seven years, the project has transformed into an ecosystem that allows young people, who are involved in creative industries, act as executives or run NGOs, to realize their full creative potential.
