MAU students discussed youth policies with the expert from Murmansk administration

On November 23, 2023, the first-year students of specialization «Youth Work and Youth Policies» met Dmitri Zamshev, the chief expert on youth policies of the Committee on Social Support, Cooperation and Youth Policies of Murmansk administration.
MAU Philosophy and Social Sciences department organized this event as part of the series of meetings with the experts on youth policies. The aim of such meetings is to help students master the chosen profession and learn about possibilities of self-realization in the field of youth work in Murmansk region.
Dmitri graduated from the same specialization as the students, so he shared his hands-on experience in youth work, possibilities of self-realization, and modern trends of youth policies. The students could ask questions that are interesting to them, as well as check their knowledge of modern youth projects and legal acts.
«Such meetings are not only necessary, but also useful,» shared Svetlana Petoshina, docent of MAU Philosophy and Social Sciences department. «They give the students a chance to learn more about their future profession and increase motivation for self-development.»
«We are always glad to share everything we know with the young people. It is our goal to support them in self-realization and show different directions for development,» said Dmitri Zamshev.
