A highlight of the visit was a presentation of the University at T-Hub, a leading innovation centres of India located in Hyderabad, the state's capital. As a powerful force of Telangana's technological advancement, T-Hub provided an ideal platform for Viktoria Piksendeeva to showcase MAU's extensive capabilities. Indian partners expressed keen interest in MAU's Arctic-focused and engineering programmes, including:
- Shipbuilding
- Robotics
- Maritime navigation
- eligible to take final accreditation at Murmansk Arctic University
- qualified to take the mandatory NEXT (National Exit Test) in India, a crucial step towards obtaining their medical licences.
The visit concluded with a seminar for potential applicant and their parents in Hyderabad. Viktoria Piksendeeva provided comprehensive overview of MAU's educational programmes, unique opportunities for practical training within the Arctic environment, the University's infrastructure, and students' accommodation in Murmansk. The event was organised by Shiloh Sky High Overseas, MAU's long-standing and trusted partner in India, and its Director, Mr. Kumar Kocharla Babu.
«This visit marks a significant milestone in our evolving collaboration with India,» shared Viktoria. «We have not only strengthened our partnership through T-Hub and reaffirmed the attractiveness of our engineering specialities, but also addressed the critical issue of medical diplomas recognition. This opens doors to talented students from India and guarantees that our current General Medicine students can confidently return home as qualified doctors. We are grateful to our Indian partners, the Consulate, and the Russian House for fruitful cooperation.»
The visit by MAU representative to Telangana underlines the University's commitment to internationalising education and strengthening its position in the educational market of India by offering internationally recognised programmes, particularly in the field of medicine.
